C.R.S.T Telephone Authority also owns and operates Cable Television systems in four (4) of the larger towns in our service area:  Eagle Butte, Dupree, Cherry Creek and Takini.   There is an approximate total of 700 cable tv subscribers.  The cable television operation has doubled in size since offering the Direct Satellite Services (DBS). 

The CATV division provides Direct Broadcast Satellite Service to approximately 650 customers in Dewey and Ziebach counties.  The new small dish digital television service has been popular in the rural areas with its great 175 channel offering.  DBS customers can receive pay-per view movies as well as a full selection of sports channels.

There are currently 7 employees at the CATV division.  In order to best serve the needs of our customers, we have diversified.  Besides the Cable TV business, we also own and operate an L.P. Gas service and a retail office supply business.
